A Life of Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy: Theadina Seyfried

Share

In Hollywood and the modeling world, Theadina Seyfried stands out as a rising talent who is beautiful, ambitious, and empathetic. She is already cultivating a reputation as being an actress who is hard working and professional, and she is networking within the industry and outside of it to meet influencers who can help achieve her biggest dreams: starting her own business and becoming a philanthropist. “I have a lot of goals for my life, both in LA and around the world,” Theadina says, “and this is a crucial time for me. What I do now may determine how successful I am over the next few years.”

Theadina gets her ambition from her father, who was a highly respected colonel in the Army. “I still look back at him and am amazed by what he did with his life. He was also a movie producer and at one point a journalist and an archaeologist. My mother was a Filipina nurse and worked just as hard as he did.”

She lived a privileged lifestyle, she admits. “My father was an excellent provider for my mother and me,” she says. “However, I took for granted what he gave me, and it wasn’t until he passed away last year that I was able to see how wrong I had been.”

The death of Theadina’s father caused her to go through an intense period of introspection. “I was devastated,” she remembers. “It definitely changes you when you lose a parent, especially when you were close to them. I looked around and saw how meaningless materialistic things were. I wondered where happiness could be found, and I finally decided I could find fulfilment by helping others in any way I can. This, I know, would make my father happy.”

One way she wants to impact people is through her acting. “Movies are sometimes painted as being superficial, but I disagree. Look how relaxed someone feels when they watch one. If I can bring enjoyment to someone who has had a stressful day, that will make me happy. Although, to be honest, I don’t know how relaxed they will be when they see my new movie, a horror short!”

Theadina’s interests are diverse and include entrepreneurship. “I am starting a skincare line in 2022,” she states. “I still have to go to South Korea to do research, but that’s the target date. I use La Mer, but even though I love it, it’s very expensive and not easily accessible to other women. So, I plan to make something cheaper but that is still of good quality. I am going to go to Africa because that is where I can get Shea butter in large amounts for the cheapest price. I at least want to have a cleanser, SPF, moisturizer, and night creams. I want all of this to be affordable for women because there’s so much out there that is just tremendously expensive.”

Theadina has a strong vision for her future and plans for making it happen. “I love Europe, so I see myself living in Paris. Maybe I will make that my home and travel the world from there. I see a few more films under my belt as well as me getting into French and European cinema, perhaps even a movie, short film, or independent film at the Cannes Film Festival. I will already have my skincare line, of course. I’d like to either build an orphanage or start my own nonprofit organization for young kids or girls. That is my dream. I just want to help people but also make the world a more beautiful and better place. So, the sky’s the limit. Philanthropy mixed with acting, beauty, and business.”

Theadina has learned a lot through the many auditions she has attended, and she is willing to share a few pieces of advice. “Whatever you do, walk into the room and own it,” she says. “You have to be confident and let who you are come out. It is vital that you know yourself, who you are, and the reason why you’re doing something.”

Knowing your “why,” Theadina says, makes all the difference in the world. “It changed my life completely. One day, I had my head in the wrong place, and then the next, I could see myself and my future so clearly. I am thankful that happened. It means that I am more aware of what I can do, and I can use that to change the lives of as many people as possible.”
